Berg Riesling 2022: A Vibrant Tribute to Alsace Terroir

Experience the essence of Alsace with the Berg Riesling 2022, a wine that captures the region’s cool-climate character in every sip. This Riesling is a masterclass in precision, blending zesty lemon notes, vibrant acidity, and a distinct slate minerality that makes it both food-friendly and age-worthy.

Sourced from Domaine Mélanie Pfister’s single-vineyard parcels—Silberberg and Auf dem Berg—in Dahlenheim, this wine benefits from the unique clay-limestone hillsides and Muschelkalk bedrock. The 40-year-old vines yield grapes of exceptional clarity, reflecting the terroir’s cool northern climate.

Crafted with organic viticulture practices, the grapes were hand-picked in September 2022 and fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Aging on fine lees until bottling in July 2023 enhances its texture and complexity.

Tasting Profile:
Pale gold in color, it opens with aromatic lemon blossom and citrus zest. The palate is crisp and saline, offering flavors of lemon, green apple, and a steely minerality that lingers with a refreshing, racy finish.

Perfect Pairings:
Elevate your meal with Choucroute garnie, lemon-buttered turbot, or a creamy goat’s cheese tart—each complementing the wine’s bright acidity and mineral-driven structure.

Why Choose Berg Riesling 2022?
Single-Vineyard Authenticity: Reflects the purity of its hillside origins.
Organic Viticulture: Sustainably farmed for environmental harmony.
Age-Worthy Elegance: Develops complexity over time while retaining freshness.
